Merge was a Freetail Hackers web app with the goal of helping people find hackathon teammates. It was the largest single project I ever worked on in college, and one which taught me an incredible amount as I rose from a clueless new developer in June 2022 to in charge of the entire thing by October 2023. As I wrote and rewrote so much of the codebase, I learned a ton about the particular tech stack (React, WebSockets, and MongoDB) and how to collaborate with fellow developers, designers, and stakeholders. While the app proved unsuccessful, the experience of working on it prepared me well for my first internship and the real world.
I participated in the Texas Convergent Build Teams program for 2 semesters. The code I wrote there is arguably some of my finest work (as of December 2022.) My team won the "Best Technology" award in both semesters that I participated.
Launder was my project in Fall 2022.
ForeSense was my project in Spring 2022. It prepared me well for being an IoT lead later on.
